Embrace Every Turn in the 2026 Mazda CX-30

The 2026 Mazda CX-30 is designed to turn heads while providing superior comfort on the road. Several trims are available with a choice of two engines.

The 2026 Mazda CX-30 trim level breakdown consists of the Carbon models, the models with the turbocharged engine, and the entry models with the naturally aspirated four-cylinder. This gives you a total of eight trims to choose from with a price range between about $25,000 and $37,000. With this many trims to choose from, the CX-30 gives buyers exactly what they want in a small crossover.

Entry Trims Provide Exceptional Value

The first four trims of the 2026 Mazda CX-30 include the 2.5 S, the 2.5 S Select Sport, the 2.5 S Preferred, and the 2.5 S Carbon Edition. All four of these trims come with the standard 2.5-liter engine that makes 191 horsepower. You can expect up to 29 mpg combined with these trims. The first three trims come with a six-speaker audio system, but the 2.5 S Carbon Edition adds two more speakers for an eight-speaker audio system.

Let’s take a look at some differences. If you move up to the S Select Sport, it adds a dual-zone automatic climate system and rear vents, which are nice to have if you often carry passengers in the back seats. The next step up is the S Preferred, and this one adds heated seats for those cold mornings and an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. The Carbon Edition has all of these features, plus the addition of wireless Apple/Android integration and an aesthetics package.

Top Trims Add Luxury Features and More Power

The top four trims start with the 2.5 S Premium, then add the 2.5 Carbon Turbo, the 2.5 Turbo Premium, and the 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus. The main difference between the 2.5 S Premium and the top three is that the latter come with a standard turbocharged engine that makes 250 horsepower. However, more power means lower fuel economy, and you can expect about 25 mpg combined with the top three trims. The good news is that if you want some of the top luxury features but not the turbocharged engine, the 2.5 S Premium has most of them.

Starting with the audio system, the 2.5 S Premium features a 12-speaker Bose audio system just like the top two trims. It also has the rear power liftgate for convenient cargo loading and unloading. The Carbon Turbo trim can be considered the base turbo trim, as it doesn’t have these features found on the top two trims and the S Premium.
